Gillian Martin

Gillian is a behavioural psychologist with over 20 years of experience supporting people using behaviour science in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the USA. Her work has primarily been in healthcare settings, including supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities and those who are Neurodiverse. She is an Adjunct Associate Professor in Trinity College Dublin and sits on the Advisory Board of the Institute of Applied Behavior Analysis (CA, USA)

The core of Gillian’s work remains in directly supporting people with behavioural expressions of need. However, she has always had a strong interest in the wellbeing of staff, families and others who support and love those who may need additional assistance. This is done through training, development and supporting others to think through new concepts and find solutions that work for their unique situation.

Her training & facilitation style is flexible and adaptive, and she delivers support both online and in person. Sessions are applied and interactive led by the needs of the team on the day, using the core concepts being delivered. The values that drive her work include respect, curiosity, equality and integrity.
